About us
We are a team of experts with a strong passion for education and technology. With a background in physics and years of experience in creating educational software, we have been working on innovative projects such as EpsilonSoft since 2014. Today, with eTutor TestValue, we carry on this tradition, integrating artificial intelligence to develop advanced educational tools.
Nicolò Blunda, Author of eTutor TestValue
A graduate in Physics, he is a mathematics teacher in Secondary School. He is an inspirer and curator of numerous research projects, including in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin. Since 2008, he has been engaged in the development of assessment software with some major publishing houses and is constantly involved in teacher training throughout the country.
In 2014 he kicked off the EpsilonSoft project, engaging in the production of educational software, counting collaborations with major educational publishing groups.
Since 2023, he has been collaborating with BBNetworks s.r.l. on the eTutor TestValue project, which, inheriting EpsilonSoft experience, continues its development through integration with AI.
Marco Angellieri, Author of eTutor TestValue
With a degree in Physics, he began his career as a researcher at the R&D laboratories of Pirelli Cavi S.p.A and Italtel S.p.A. He carried on as a lecturer and consultant, acquiring increasing knowledge in the managerial field for the ICT sector, managing important projects for Vodafone Italy and the International Bank of Luxembourg. He has also been involved in software development, network and systems administration.
In 2014 he co-authored with Nicolò Blunda the EpsilonSoft project.
Since 2023, he has been collaborating with BBNetworks s.r.l. on the eTutor TestValue project, which, inheriting EpsilonSoft experience, continues its development through integration with AI.

The eTutor TestValue software is an application aimed at writing, administering and evaluating Learning Tests.
The package consists of three independent components:

eTutor TestValue MAKER
Allows lists of closed-ended or completion-required questions to be compiled.
In the licensed version, question lists can be generated using artificial intelligence (AI) and be saved in the teacher’s personal cloud or in the Institute cloud for sharing.
Each list can be printed, with random shuffling of questions and/or answers, for paper-based classroom administration or be uploaded by the LAB/CLASS/TEACHER components for automatic administration and correction.
eTutor TestValue LAB/CLASS/TEACHER
They allow the test to be managed, at every stage, by talking to the eTutor TestValue CLIENT component present on each student post.
eTutor TestValue LAB/CLASS/TEACHER the teacher can:
- distribute the test to the student-stations, choosing the running time, shuffling questions and answers, and allowing or not allowing the preview of unperformed questions;
- collect the answers and obtain the grade achieved, calculated on the basis of their own evaluation parameters;
- View the summary and analytical statement of responses (log) in MS Excel© format;
- correct the sufficiency threshold, even after the session is over, adjusting it to the “perceived difficulty” of the test.
- Store the session in the cloud, in a secure area accessible by authentication.

WHAT IS eTutor TestValue?
eTutor TestValue is a suite of applications to manage all phases of a summative or educational Test with automatic correction, in a flexible and comprehensive manner.
WHERE AND HOW IS eTutor TestValue usable?
A fully equipped classroom, equipped with computers (PC or MAC) or mobile devices (Android Tablets), is required to administer a Test. Examinees may also use their private desktop or mobile devices (tablets or smartphones), as well as the administering teacher (PC OR MAC).
WHAT ARE THE PECULIARITIES of eTutor TestValue?
In contrast to the most popular auto-correcting software, eTutor TestValue allows the use of the Test with single scrolling of the questions (with optional preview of the remaining), optional timing of the single question, modification of the sufficiency threshold even after the session is over, and comprehensive reporting, both summary and detailed, for families. Assessment can, in addition, be differentiated on the basis of proficiency parameters/subtopic indicators and take into account differentiated time frames for students with DSA.
CAN eTutor TestValue USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?
Yes, the creation of Disciplinary Tests can make use of OpenAI® through an engine built into the MAKER component (used by the teacher). By specifying the subject and topic of the Test, as well as any wishes on the content of the questions, the Test will be automatically composed and prepared for later customization by the teacher.
Is eTutor TestValue FREE?
Of eTutor TestValue, there is a free component with reduced functionality, i.e., limited access to AI and disallowed use of the personal cloud and Test Storage Institute.
Paid packages come with an annual license.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY eTutor TestValue?
The TEACHER package is purchasable and manageable by the individual teacher, while the CLASS and LAB packages are purchasable by the School Institute and are intended for its equipped classrooms, fixed or mobile.
